Valerie Schulz
  •  Received Master’s of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Kansas in 2010

  • Has worked in school-based settings for Leavenworth County Special Education Cooperative and Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center, servicing children Birth-21 years

  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified since 2010 

  • Currently provides speech-language services via teletherapy to children in Kansas and California

  • Special interests and training include:

         Infant/Toddler and Early Intervention

        Articulation and phonological disorders

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

        Fluency

  • Passionate about making therapy fun and engaging to help children reach their full communication potential. 

  • Graduated from Logan High School in 2004

  • Lives in Hill City with husband, Scott, and children, Jackson (5) and Raya (2)

  • Enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, and spending time with family and friends

Shaina Wiens
Abi Rohr
  • Received master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University in 2015

  • Have worked in school settings for North Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative and outpatient settings for Newman Regional Health

  • Received American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certificate in 2017

  • Areas of interest include:

    • Articulation and phonology disorders

    • Autism Spectrum Disorders

    • Language processing disorders

  • Graduated from Garden City High School in 2010

  • Lives in Phillipsburg with husband, Eric, and baby boy arriving July 2018

  • Enjoys music, gardening, and spending time with family

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Fort Hays State University in 2015

  • Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2017

  • Currently working for the West Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative in Hays since 2017 (settings include preschool and elementary/middle/high schools)

  •  Areas of Interest: Speech Sound Disorders, Child Language Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Originally from Colby and graduated from Colby High School in 2011

  • Currently living in Hays with husband, Randy and cat, Rupert   

Hannah Poland
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Fort Hays State University in 2013.

  • Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2015.

  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) National Certification.

  • Worked for six years in school-based therapy services, one year in private practice, and part-time teaching online university classes.

  • Areas of Interest: Speech Sound Disorders, Child Language Disorders Including Communication Delays, Fluency Disorders, Developmental Disorders 

  • Originally from rural Reno county, west of Hutchinson.

  • Currently living in Ellis with husband William, two children - Shane and Audrey, and four dogs!

  • Enjoys reading, art, quilting, walking and hiking, and horseback riding with the kids!

MacKenzie Shuckman
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Fort Hays State University in 2016.

  • Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2018.

  • American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) National Certification.

  • Previously worked for Northwest Kansas Educational Services, servicing children Birth - 21 years.

  • Areas of Interest: early intervention, articulation disorders, and language disorders.

  • Originally from Hays and graduated from Hays High School in 2012.

  • Lives in Hays with husband, Kelton, and two sons, Sullivan and Brooks.
