 *Received Master’s of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Kansas in 2010

*  Has worked in school-based settings for Leavenworth County Special Education Cooperative and Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center, servicing children Birth-21 years

* American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified since 2010 

*   Currently provides speech-language services via teletherapy to children in Kansas and California

 *Special interests and training include:

         Infant/Toddler and Early Intervention

        Articulation and phonological disorders

        Autism Spectrum Disorders

        Fluency

* Passionate about making therapy fun and engaging to help children reach their full communication potential. 

*  Graduated from Logan High School in 2004                                                                  * Lives in Hill City with husband, Scott, and children, Jackson (5) and Raya (2)

* Enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, and spending time with family and friends

*Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
*Masters degree; Wichita State University, undergraduate degree from KSU

*24 years experience birth through adolescence
*Maintain professional growth by attending a variety of workshops  & collaboration with colleagues on a continuing basis
*Experience in public school setting, daycares, & homes
* Areas of service have included work with             Autism, Hearing impairment,

          Cleft-palate,

          Childhood apraxia of speech,

          Developmental delays,  articulation                 Phonological awareness,
          Vocabulary development,

          Total communication with tactile cues,                    sign language, & communication                      pictures, along with social skills                        development

*Graduated from Decatur Community High School & lives in Oberlin with her

husband Gary. We have seven children Wade, Brent, Troy, Jeffery, Andrew,
Jenna & Joshua and a daughter-in-law, Kristy.
*Loves kids & life on the farm with our dogs, cats, chickens, pigs. Loves to cook, plant Flowers, & play outside.

  • Have worked in school settings for North Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative and outpatient settings for Newman Regional Health

  • Received American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certificate in 2017

    • Autism Spectrum Disorders

    • Language processing disorders

  • Graduated from Garden City High School in 2010

  • Lives in Phillipsburg with husband, Eric, and baby boy arriving July 2018
