Beth Zillinger
  • Beth Zillinger graduated from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas,

  • She has a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders in 2007 and a master's degree in the same field in 2009.  In 2010 Beth received her American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certificate.

  • Beth has a diverse professional background, having worked for the North Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative and Keystone Learning Services in various roles, including K-12 speech-language pathologist, member of the autism interdisciplinary and diagnostic teams, and coordinator for assistive technology/augmentative alternative communication. 

  • Her areas of interest include assistive technology, augmentative, alternative communication, autism and complex communication needs.  Currently, Beth serves as the Kansas Infinitec Coalition Program Director, where she supports students, families, staff, and schools across Kansas through professional learning and equipment resources. 

  • She has presented on strategies to support AAC decision making and implementation at conferences including the Kansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association Conference, Closing the Gap Assistive Technology Conference, and Ocalicon: The Premier Autism and Disabilities Conference.

  • Beth Zillinger graduated from Northern Valley High School and grew up in Logan, KS.  She currently resides in Norton, KS, with her husband, Blake, and their two daughters, Becca and Bailee.

  • Outside of her professional life, Beth enjoys working on the family farm and is actively involved in her church community. She also serves on the Norton County Farm Bureau Board.

  • Received master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University in 2015

  • Have worked in school settings for North Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative and outpatient settings for Newman Regional Health

  • Received American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certificate in 2017

  • Areas of interest include:

    • Articulation and phonology disorders

    • Autism Spectrum Disorders

    • Language processing disorders

  • Graduated from Garden City High School in 2010

  • Lives in Phillipsburg with husband, Eric, and two children, Cade and Reese. 

  • Enjoys music, gardening, and spending time with family

  • grew up just northwest of Wichita, in Valley Center, graduated high school in 1995

  • attended Southwestern College, received bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 1999

  • attended FHSU 2012-2016 earning Bachelor’s and Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • employed by Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center (NKESC) since Aug 2016; currently serving birth - 21 yr old in Oberlin and Golden Plains districts

  • employed by Theraplay Learning Center (TLC) since 2021

  • Lives in Oberlin with husband, Stosh and owns Dale’s Fish N Fun N Gun 

  • Has two sons, Gabe and Gavin 

  • Gabe graduated from Pratt Community College with BS in Biology, transferring to FHSU to study Fisheries and Wildlife Biology

  • Gavin is attending Sterling College to study Physical Education and play football

Hannah Poland
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Fort Hays State University in 2013.

  • Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2015.

  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) National Certification.

  • Worked for six years in school-based therapy services, one year in private practice, and part-time teaching online university classes.

  • Areas of Interest: Speech Sound Disorders, Child Language Disorders Including Communication Delays, Fluency Disorders, Developmental Disorders 

  • Originally from rural Reno county, west of Hutchinson.

  • Currently living in Ellis with husband William, two children - Shane and Audrey, and four dogs!

  • Enjoys reading, art, quilting, walking and hiking, and horseback riding with the kids!
