Valerie Schulz

Received Master’s of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Kansas in 2010

Has worked in school-based settings for Leavenworth County Special Education Cooperative and Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center, servicing children Birth-21 years
-
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified since 2010
-
Currently provides speech-language services via teletherapy to children in Kansas and California
-

Lives in Oberlin with husband, Stosh and owns Dale’s Fish N Fun N Gun

Has two sons, Gabe and Gavin

Gabe graduated from Pratt Community College with BS in Biology, transferring to FHSU to study Fisheries and Wildlife Biology

Gavin is attending Sterling College to study Physical Education and play football

Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Fort Hays State University in 2013.

Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2015.

Worked for six years in school-based therapy services, one year in private practice, and part-time teaching online university classes.

Areas of Interest: Speech Sound Disorders, Child Language Disorders Including Communication Delays, Fluency Disorders, Developmental Disorders

Originally from rural Reno county, west of Hutchinson.

Currently living in Ellis with husband William, two children - Shane and Audrey, and four dogs!

Enjoys reading, art, quilting, walking and hiking, and horseback riding with the kids!
